Dr Yeliz Prior, Senior Research Fellow and Programme Lead for the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) at the University of Salford, has been chosen to feature in the latest Wonder Women film from NHS Research & Development North West.
The film features Yeliz (pictured) talking about the human side to her work and her passion for research. She also highlights the importance of diversity and the need for more women to help shape the future of health and social care research, in order to better represent the NHS workforce.
Yeliz explains: “I’m really proud that the NHS asked me to take part in the Wonder Women films. I think we should all be a bit more ambitious, and hopefully this will help other women to see that research could be a career option for them. You can watch the video interview here:
